Molarity to Moles Calculator

Formula

The formula for calculating the number of moles from molarity is:

\( \text{Moles} = \text{Molarity} \times \text{Volume} \)

Example

Let's say we have a solution with a molarity of 2 mol/L and a volume of 3 L. The number of moles would be calculated as follows:

\( \text{Moles} = 2 \times 3 = 6 \text{ moles} \)

So the total number of moles in this solution would be 6 moles.
